Monica and Susan both graduated from NSCAD University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Interdisciplinary and a Minor in Illustration.

Since graduation, Monica has done work as a children’s book illustrator for Ashton's Puddle, published in 2019 and for Mom’s Socks, published in 2016 .

Both Monica and Susan have had their work exhibited in multiple annual art festivals and have participated as vendors for the Halifax Lights Holiday Market, Sherbrooke Village Old Fashioned Christmas Market, and the Antigonish Winter Market.
